Find out why the French consider cooking an art while comparing a typical meal in Paris to one in Dakar, Sénégal. Discuss what people do to relax, pursue hobbies, and spend time with friends. Take a virtual tour of the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay to learn how artists expressed themselves through painting and sculpture. Plan for your future, discussing possible career paths, and the importance of education. Then look at contemporary society and its future: discuss issues of international importance including the environment, immigration, racism, terrorism, and poverty.
