Resources

Often within themes of this nature wealth is a very big part of characters. Everyone wants to be old money or big money. It gives the allure of status and connection. This however is not something that is very realistic. For this reason wealth is handled very differently here. There are 5 types of financial Status here, and they are each explained below.

Old Money

Perhaps the most idolized wealth status of all. It's the choice that says "I'm important just because I'm here". Mommy and Daddy didn't have to work hard or make anything of themselves, because they are simply rich for the simple matter of birth and genetics. This is also the rarest of status types. All applications of Old Wealth will be carefully looked at and judged for approval. These applications should be well written and detailed and give a clear definition of the character. Applications that do not fit the guidelines will be refused or asked to lower their wealth to Middle Class.

Made Money

This is the second most popular. Mommy and Daddy went to college, worked hard, and became big money <place career here>, and have since acquired a live of luxury and comfort. This is a little less rare, but comes with just as intriguing level of status and importance. Like Old Money, all applications of this resource level will be carefully looked at and judged for approval. These applications should be well written and detailed and give a clear definition of the character. Applications that do not fit the guidelines will be refused or asked to lower their wealth to Middle Class.

Middle Class Americana

The less popular but often apped resource level. These families have enough to get by with a little extra. This status represents the most of America. One or both parents work, and bring in enough to pay the bills and enjoy life. They, however, do not waste millions a year on trivial things like boats and cars. There is no restriction on this status.

Lower Class

These families are working hard to get by. They live in the lower wards of the city and are often viewed as poor, even though often, they are not exactly what they are perceived as. Low income does not mean poor. They have a home, and cloths on their backs and food to eat. They simply lack the 'mad cash flow' that most upper status incomes have. Characters in this status might have to find more creative ways to get things they want.
